The Dissector is back, and it’s better than ever. A favorite among trail riders for its rolling speed and versatility, the Dissector returns with significant updates that take cornering precision, braking traction, and overall ride feel to the next level.

The trail version of the Maxxis Minion DHR II features the same tread pattern as its downhill counterpart, but uses a single-ply casing to reduce weight

The Rekon is a light duty trail tire designed to go fast in technical terrain.

With a tread design that deftly balances rolling speed with braking and cornering traction, it’s no wonder why the Minion DHF is one of the most imitated tires in mountain biking.

The Maxxis Aspen pushes the limits of a lightweight XC tyre designed to have minimal rolling resistance. The Aspen is designed with a casing to smooth out the roughest roots and rocks, while the dual compounds give optimal traction in the corners.

The team-spec Aspens use the same tread pattern as the current production version, but with a lighter, faster and more supple 170 TPI casing.

With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike.

The Maxxis Aggressor is designed for high-speed, hard-packed, rocky trails. It works especially well as a rear tire paired with a Minion DHF or Assegai in the front.

The Maxxis Ardent Race shares many features with the Ikon – small, ramped center tread – but offers improved cornering performance with more substantial side knobs.

Designed in conjunction with Aussie DH racer Troy Brosnan, the Dissector seeks to minimize drag while retaining cornering control. This versatile tire can be used as a front, a pair, or as a rear depending on trail conditions.
